- Celebrating 25 years in 2012, Naxos has evolved from its beginnings as a budget label to a leading classical music group. Headquartered in Hong Kong with distribution and marketing subsidiaries in fifteen countries, the group distributes its Naxos, Naxos AudioBook and Marco Polo labels and provides distribution and licensing services to more than 200 independent and major CD and DVD labels. Naxos International (Far East) is a subsidiary of HNH International Limited since 1997. It was incorporated in 2003 as Naxos International (Far East) Limited to market Naxos and its distributed labels in Hong Kong SAR, Vietnam, Macau, Taiwan, China, Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines and Thailand.
Since its incorporation, Naxos Far East has steadily increased the scale of its operations and distribution of over 90 independent Classical, Jazz and World Music labels to include some of the most respected CD and DVD labels such as BIS, Harmonia Mundi, VOX, Ondine, BBC Legends, C Major, Opus Arte, Arthaus, Accentus and Oehms. Naxos Far East has positioned itself as the market leader in the audiophile market, distributing award-winning labels FIM, FIM/Telarc and Reference Recordings. In addition to the physical distribution of products, Naxos Far East is also active in marketing the digital business and responsible for licensing Naxos to all of its territories.
